John Hailes Medical Coding Institute (JHMCI) was founded in 2001 to provide coding, medical billing and medical claims processing education. Currently, JHMCI only specializes in medical coding education and coding services. JHMCI has helped over 500 students obtain coding certification since 2001 in Northern California through either the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) or American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). 

Our certified (credentialed) coders have proven mastery of all code sets, Evaluation and Management (E/M) principles, and documentation guidelines. Our trained Certified Professional Coders (CPC) and Certified Coding Specialists - Professional (CCS-P) credentialed coders represent the best in professional coding field.  Specialty credentials are currently offered in 20 different fields of expertise by the AAPC. JHMCI also provides this specialty certification education upon request. JHMCI offers continuing education through workshops, webinars and online education.
